DESCRIPTION | Shadow
Shadow is a "One in a MILLION MULE" She is a classy 11 year old molly who stands a solid 14.2 hands with the shape and true buckskin color to get noticed. Easy to catch as she will meet you at the gate. Shadow is sired by Choice the son of the late great Texas Scooter and Sophia our buckskin quarter mare. Born here at Peterson's Quality Mules and then sold as a weanling to Kentucky. That is where she has had extensive professional training. She has logged many hours on the trails, squirrel hunting, coon hunting and trail riding. Navigates down steep mountainsides, crosses logs, water, big river bridges, and handles traffic with ease. Shadow has been ridden on the town square while displaying her cheerful Christmas lights. She has packed supplies and ponied colts. Has been ridden through the local dance hall giving patrons a smile on there face. The children loved being pulled in the Iowa snow on the sled by Shadow. Has great ground manners as she loves being groomed and getting attention from everyone. Great with the farrier, clipping, handling of her ears, bridling and stands to be saddled. Transitions into all three gates with class and appeal. Very soft in the face, will ride off of leg pressure and one hand neck rein. Heck you can even take the bridle off and ride her. This beautiful buckskin molly doesn't get excited about anything, traffic, guns, bull whip or fireworks. Shadow has been used to work cattle in the pastures and local roping pen. We have all really enjoyed having Shadow around to trail ride and have fun on. She has been rode at the local fun days by various number of kids. She does great in all the different events.
