Mule Day's
Saturday - Schedule Of Events:

10 am Parade Line-Up (Road 15-west of Ralston)
(Meet near Jake’s arena to travel to starting line)

11 am Parade—Downtown Ralston—ends at Jake’s arena

1 pm Rodeo—All MULES  $10 per person
(FREE—12 & under and 80 & over)

5 pm Dinner Rib Eye Steak
  $20 per plate
Hamburger $10 (plus all the fixin’s)

6 pm Rodeo Awards and Payoff located in the Big Barn

7 pm Dance to Travis Smith & Deb Bischoff in the Big Barn

Welcome to the Annual Mule Days Parade in downtown Ralston Wyoming. Every year we introduce this years mule for all to see. Just outside the Boulder Ranch on Highway 20 between Powell and Cody Wyoming; come listen to this years announcements.

All MULE Rodeo is action packed and family fun to keep all entertained. Come experience to American Saddle Mule as one of the smartest athletes in the arena today. These mules are tested to their full ability and display well performed events for all to see. It is the chance of a lifetime in rodeo events.

Two big smokers full of fresh cooked rib eyed steaks. Every year they get better with all the dressings. No one goes home hungry, it is a heck of a deal for $20 bucks. Kids & light eaters can get a hamburger plate for half price, dessert included.

The Annual Barn Dance starts at seven making music we can all dance to. It is fun in the dirt, with cold beer available in the cool of the night. Come dance or watch us have a great time from the bleachers.

Rodeo Contestants Events

Barrel Racing - Entry Fee $15.00
Make the fastest time turning a clove leaf pattern around the three barrels in the arena and return across the starting line.

Pole Bending - Entry Fee $15.00
Run to the end of the sixth pole, turn and weave through all poles, at the end turn and weave back through the poles, and at the end turn and return across the finish line. 5 second penalty for any knocked pole.

Goat Tying - Entry Fee $15.00
Cross the starting line, run to the goat, throw and tie any three legs, time ends when goat tying string is released from both hands. Goat must stay tied for 6 seconds. 10 second penalty for runner over goat or goat rope.

Saddle Mule Race - Entry Fee $15.00
A turf pasture race, ran for 350 yards.

Ribbon Roping - Entry Fee $15.00 per person – 3 person team.
Rope a steer by the head or horns, once the animal is roped and dallied up, then the mugger goes in and mugs the steer. The mugger must remove the rope from the steer before the runner can remove the ribbon from the hip of the cattle. Once the runner takes off the ribbon he must cross the finish line back at the header box.

Team Roping - Entry Fee $15.00 per person – 2 person team – enter 3 times.
Rope a steer by the head or horns, turn him off and the healer ropes the two hind feet. Once both horses are facing the steer with their ropes pulled tight, you will be flagged for time.

Team Branding - Entry Fee $15.00 per person - 3 person team
Each team will be allowed to head and heal a steer, three loops allowed. The team brander will run from the branding (paint can) area, brand the steer and when he runs back over the line at the branding area, his time will stop.

Wild Cow Milking - Entry Fee $25.00 per person - 3 person team
There will be a header, healer and a milker. All teams will be turned into the arena at one time. The cows will be released and the first team to head and heal their cow, milk her and cross the finish line with milk in their bottle will win the event.

Wild Cow Riding - Entry Fee $25.00
Take your chances on a wild bucking cow. The rider only needs to stay aboard for 8 seconds, but he mustn't touch the animal or himself with his off hand.

Wild Mule Ride – Entry Fee $25.00 Call yourself a bronc stomper? Well come see how the mule bucks. If you can hold on for 8 seconds, you might be a bronc stomper. New event in 2008 & the crowd loves it. rodeo
Steer Riding- Entry Fee $15.00
Take your chances on a wild bucking steer or miniature bull. The rider only needs to stay aboard for 8 seconds, but he mustn't touch the animal or himself with his off hand.
