DESCRIPTION | Rafter F Silkie
Silkie is a 6-year-old 14 hand Quarter Horse molly mule. She is a pretty little molly with a rare dark nose. She is out of a registered Quarter Horse mare and a large standard jack. Silkie is a sweet, kind and careful mule but most important, she is gentle and she likes people. She is not spooky and has been trail ridden, hunted and packed in the Oregon badlands, the high desert of Arizona and the Salmon river country. Silkie knows all the basics in the arena but trail work is her specialty. She is a reliable mount and will carefully cross bridges, water, down trees and most anything you might encounter on the trail. She is a medium speed walker and has always carried us safely down the trail. We have also used Silkie to gather, move and sort cows and she is handy in the branding pen. She has no quirks and is easy to catch, clip, trim, bathe, load and haul. She is up to date on vaccinations and deworming and had her dental work done in the spring of 2022.
