Charity Peterson / Tod De Jong

I've been riding and helping my dad raise quality mules since i have been a young girl. My dad was fortunate to be able to acquire the late great Texas Scooter jack that has built a legacy of quality mules. We have raised many mules from our home raised and hand selected jacks from the Texas Scooter bloodlines. We continue to raise quality mules, jack stock and jennies to offer to the public. We also ship cooled semen, if folks would like to raise their own colt. Tod and I together ride and train mules for the public to purchase. Tod grew up with the love of mules and horses. He has always seemed to lean more towards the long ears! Tod spent well over 30 years riding and training for the public. His family also shared a great past time of riding, but also driving their mules. They spent many miles behind various teams of mules on the dusty Iowa roads. Tod's daughter Elizabeth has followed in his footsteps with the love of equine also. So, with that Elizabeth her husband Ben and there four children have been a big part of our journey navigating this great adventure in the mule world. The grandkids Bentley 13, Paisley 10, Charley 4 love to ride mules. I'm almost certain the new granddaughter Shayley will love it to.
