DESCRIPTION | Just R Clovis
Clovis is an 8 yr. old John mule that stands 14.1 hands tall and weighs 950lbs. Clovis has been my main mount on the 1000 head cow calf operation I work for. I've used him to gather, sort, doctor and drag to the fire for branding. Clovis has been used to sort bucking stock and escort roping cattle out of the arena at IRA rodeos the last couple of summers. Clovis won the 2024 Best Mule in the Canyon saddle at the Extreme Cowboy Race State finals in Alabama. In November 2024 Clovis was the Extreme Cowboy Association Reserve World Champion Open Mule in Glen Rose Texas. In January of 2025 I am taking Clovis to the National Western Stock Show in Denver to compete in the Open Ranch Mule Show. When we say Clovis has been there, done that, we really mean it. Clovis stands for the farrier, bathes, clips and will about load himself. He is an outstanding mount to ride in the pasture or on a trail ride, he's traffic safe and if you don't want to swim the pond, don't start him across because there isn't any quit in him. Clovis is very good at coming over to a mounting block, hay bale, trailer fender or gate so you can get on from any of those places. Clovis has a scar on his right upper eyelid. He is missing a couple of eyelashes on that side.
