WILLOW: 10 y.o. bay, mare mule. 14.2hh. This little lady makes it HARD TO BE HUMBLE because she IS..... PERFECT in every way. Willow is the COMPLETE package with a heart to please. There is nothing Miss Willow cannot do. A supreme trail mount, she is safe for beginners and safe for GRAND-babies. She puts her head down and she's ready go to work when you're ready. Willow is a resident of Western Kentucky and no stranger to four-season weather. She's a superstar in the sweltering humidity of Kentucky summers yet boasts the same working/pleasing disposition in the ever-fluctuating temperatures of winters in Kentucky. Willow loves the trails at Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area of Western Kentucky and the trails of the Shawnee National Forrest in Southern Illinois. She'll go in the water, walk across the bridges and move through tunnels and narrow passes, without fail. She doesn't mind taking the lead, hang in the middle, or be the caboose of the string. She will thrive wherever she is. Willow is a supreme squirrel hunting mount and loves chasing the howls of the mountain cur dogs. Do your shooting from the saddle if you please, she'll stand like a statue. Can't ride every day? No problem. She'll meet you at the gate and she's eager for the saddle, doesn't matter if it's been a week or 3 months. An easy keeper, Willow loves a good bath, curry comb sessions and her farrier. A typical lady, she loves "new shoe" day! She's a friend in the herd but doesn't mind the quiet time of the stall. This mule is exactly why mule owners own mules. You're going to love her.
